CJ Perry (fka Lana) reveals the truth behind Miro's alleged fight with CM Punk at AEW All In
CM Punk has not been seen in the squared circle ever since he was fired by Tony Khan at the beginning of last month.
He was last seen at AEW All In at Wembley where he was involved in a reported backstage scuffle with Jack Perry. There were also rumors that him and Miro had a physical confrontation, but they were debunked almost immediately.
Now, Miro’s wife, CJ Perry has shed more light on how her husband spent hours trying to convince her that the fight was real. Perry was speaking to Haus of Wrestling when she said:
“But I was like, ‘What are you doing?’ You know? Like, ‘Why? Why? Why are you doing that?’ And then also, there’s a part of me that knew I was debuting, I’m like, ‘Oh, God. Can we just lay low, please?' So, I was getting hot. And then, the next thing I hear is Miro was pissed that CM Punk went to the dirt sheets and said he was joking."
She continued:
“And I’m like, ‘Were you joking?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah.’ I’m like, ‘Wait, what?’ So then for, like, five hours or until that time, he was selling the whole story to me like it was real. Selling it to me like it was all real. And I’m like, ‘So, wait, you’re telling me it was a joke?’ He tells me the story of how CM Punk is like, ‘Do you have a problem with me?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah,’ and CM Punk goes, ‘You want to fight?’ [H/T Haus of Wrestling]
There have been a lot of rumors about Punk joining WWE. However, those are just rumors and fans have to wait and see how things transpire between the two parties.
