Claudio Castagnoli shares interesting backstage photo with former WWE stars

Following the fifth anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite earlier this week, Claudio Castagnoli posted a moment he shared backstage with two certain former WWE Superstars. The star shared a photo from his time with PAC and Marina Shafir.

The stars have aligned themselves with what seems to be a new version of the Blackpool Combat Club led by Jon Moxley. The group has been causing chaos in the promotion after their heel turns at All Out and there is no telling when this will come to an end. Currently, they are feuding with both Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta, their former comrades.

On X/Twitter, Claudio Castagnoli posted a picture of the three of them backstage during the show. He also posted a short message, as he was also celebrating the milestone that the AEW Dynamite had reached.

"Happy 5," Claudio posted.

Claudio Castagnoli has shown his loyalty to Jon Moxley

At AEW All Out, everyone around the world saw the Blackpool Combat Club turn on Bryan Danielson, kicking him out of the group. This came as a surprise as the faction had been around for more than two years at that point, and they seemed stronger than ever.

On X/Twitter, Claudio Castagnoli pledged his allegiance to Jon Moxley who has been calling himself the "One True King". The Swiss star has coined a nickname for himself, hinting at him being the White Knight for the king.

"Courage and honor #TheWhiteKnight," Claudio wrote.

Next week on Dynamite, Castagnoli will be teaming up with PAC to take on Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta. This will be his chance to soften up Bryan for Mox ahead of their bout at WrestleDream for the AEW World Championship.

It remains to be seen how this storyline will pan out in the near future.
