CM Punk makes a cheeky AEW reference just days before WWE Bad Blood

CM Punk is set to lock horns with Drew McIntyre inside the Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood this Saturday. Just days before the event, The Best in The World made a cheeky AEW reference on social media.

Punk and McIntyre have been feuding for the past nine months. The bitter rivals have traded victories at SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin. They will look to put an exclamation point to the bitter feud inside The Devil's Playground in Atlanta this weekend.

Meanwhile, a few hours ago, The Second City Saint took to his official Instagram account and shared a picture of himself from 2022. Notably, Punk was feuding with Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) at the time.

The former AEW star was attacked by MJF during an episode of Dynamite in March 2022. The veteran shared the same picture on his Instagram Stories and wrote:

''October 5th!''

CM Punk takes brutal shots at Drew McIntyre

Just days before his third clash with Drew McIntyre, CM Punk had an interview with Spiegel & Holmes on 670 The Score, where he talked about his rivalry with The Scottish Warrior. The Voice of The Voiceless took several verbal shots at his rival during the interview.

"People enjoy a good rivalry. I think Drew is a piece of s**t. Asking me what I think of him is kind of a loaded question. You’re not going to get me to say anything really flattering about him. It’s a good car crash. I understand, people like to watch that. They like to watch a good blood feud. I like when the Blackhawks play... they don’t really play Detroit anymore. Minnesota? I like when the Cubs play the [White] Sox, a little crosstown rivalry. I get it," he said.
