CM Punk shares a rare throwback picture with two former WWE Superstars

CM Punk shared a rare throwback picture with two former WWE superstars. One of them was with him during his short tenure in AEW as well.

The two stars in question are Ace Steel and WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner. Ace Steel initially posted a picture with Punk and Steiner from a meetup a couple of years ago. He also noted that he saw the Steiner Brothers documentary and said that it was a good one.

CM Punk shared that exact post and image on his Instagram stories in a nod to both Scott Steiner and Ace Steel. The latter was heavily involved with Punk during his time in AEW and also reportedly took part in The Straight Edge Superstar's scuffle with The Elite after All Out in 2022.

Steel was suspended but later rehired and worked there until he was released in September of last year.

Jim Cornette believes Triple H will book CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been going at each other for a while now. The Second City Saint cost The Scottish Warrior the World Heavyweight title not once but twice and also vowed that he would do everything in his power to make sure that McIntyre would never be champion again.

Jim Cornette, who is known to not shy away from predictions, has now revealed that he thinks Triple H will book the highly anticipated match between the two at SummerSlam. Speaking on his Jim Cornette Experience podcast, he said:

"It's looking like SummerSlam may be a more sure thing now because they wouldn't be heating this thing up like this every week if they weren't pretty sure they could be selling this soon."

It will be great to see the long-awaited rivalry take center stage at the biggest show of the summer.
