CM Punk takes massive jab at AEW in exclusive WWE RAW interview

CM Punk took a massive jab at AEW in an exclusive WWE RAW interview. This could soon become one of the main talking points tonight.

Tony Khan terminated Punk's contract last year after he was involved in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at AEW All In. In the scuffle, Perry and Punk were seen swinging fists at each other and had to be restrained by others.

On WWE RAW tonight, the Second City Saint sat for an exclusive interview with Jackie Redmond. She asked him about his feud with Seth Rollins, referencing their altercation last week. CM Punk reminded her that he is not the type to back down if someone takes a swing at him, subtly taking a jab at what happened with Jack Perry.

“I think it's no secret to anybody that I am not going to shy away from a fight. If you come at me, I will start swinging,” he said. [0:36 - 0:44]

Given the heat between CM Punk and Seth Rollins, there could be instances when the latter points out Punk's time in AEW, as there is genuine dislike between them. It will be interesting to see how he reacts then.
