Cody Rhodes references major AEW star following WWE Money in the Bank 2025

Former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes referenced an AEW veteran after the Money in the Bank 2025 Premium Live Event. The American Nightmare made the reference in the post-show.

The AEW star Cody referenced was his brother Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust). Cody and Dustin have teamed up many times in their career. The two have also wrestled each other in singles matches during their time in WWE as well as All Elite Wrestling.

At Money in the Bank 2025, The American Nightmare teamed up with Jey Uso to take on John Cena and Logan Paul in the main event. Cody and Jey managed to defeat Cena and Paul with some help from a returning R-Truth. Following their big win on the show, Rhodes and Uso appeared on the post-show as well.

While reflecting on his partnership with Jey Uso, Cody Rhodes recalled how they battled each other years ago when Jey teamed up with his brother, and Cody was paired with his brother, i.e., Dustin Rhodes.

Speaking of Dustin, he is currently the ROH World Tag Team and Six-Man Tag Team Champion as well. Fans will have to wait and see what's next for him.
