"Come on, Ricochet, stop it!" - Veteran bashes AEW star over recent WWE comments (Exclusive)

AEW star Ricochet recently made some interesting comments about WWE that did not sit well with a wrestling veteran. The name in question is none other than Vince Russo.

Ricochet made his AEW debut at All In during the Casino Gauntlet Match. The highflyer is now leaning towards a dream match against Will Ospreay. The latter had been teasing The One and Only's arrival since earlier this year. However, Ricochet recently made some comments about WWE stating that while he was booked constantly on television, fans got a quantity of Ricochet rather than quality and they did not get to see what he was truly capable of in the squared circle.

In a recent edition of Sportskeeda's exclusive Writing with Russo podcast, Vince Russo claimed that Ricochet will not get any quality while working for Tony Khan in AEW.

"There's not gonna be quality at AEW either, come on Ricochet stop. You're going to work for Tony Khan. If you haven't seen this guy's track record for the last five years, I can be pretty sure there's not gonna be any quality." [From 00:57 to 01:15]

Ricochet reveals Samantha Irvin's reaction to him leaving WWE for AEW

Samantha Irvin is the fiancee of Ricochet and is also one of the main ring announcers in the WWE. The One and Only recently revealed Samantha's reaction to his departure from the Stamford-based promotion.

In a recent chat on Talk is Jericho, Ricochet revealed that Samantha Irvin is very supportive. He said:

“She understands the type of artist that I am and the wrestler that I am. She understands, not being stifled, but not being pushed to your full potential. She’s like, ‘What’s going to make you the happiest will make all of us the happiest because as a group, we’re going to be happy,’" Jericho said. [H/T: Wrestlezone]

It will be interesting to see how Ricochet's All Elite Wrestling run goes and if Tony Khan possibly puts a title on the highflyer in the upcoming months.
