Condolences to AEW star Will Ospreay
AEW star Will Ospreay has revealed that his grandmother has passed away. Ospreay received the unfortunate news the night before this week's Dynamite and Collision tapings.
The Aerial Assassin is currently feuding with Swerve Strickland and is set to face the latter at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 30, 2024. Following this week's Dynamite, Ospreay took to Instagram to thank AEW talents who supported him backstage after his grandmother's passing. He also showed his appreciation to everyone who reached out to him during this difficult time.
Will Ospreay posted a compilation of videos of his grandmother on Instagram and shared the following message:
"Night before Dynamite & Collision tapings, I was given the unfortunate news that my Nanny Patsy had passed. Heart is completely broken that I’m on the other side of the planet & can’t be there for my beautiful mum & my grandad."

WWE analyst Sam Roberts believes Ricochet will face Will Ospreay at AEW All In 2024
Ricochet's WWE contract is set to expire in July, and the high-flyer reportedly has no plans to ink another deal. Many have speculated that the former United States Champion could jump ship to AEW following his departure from the global juggernaut.
The Human Highlight Reel's long-time on-screen rival, Will Ospreay, has been teasing his arrival in All Elite Wrestling. On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts discussed potential scenarios for Ricochet's rumored AEW debut.
"Now, going to Forbidden Door, and I don't know what the contract status is, but do we see Ricochet? Like, at the end of that Will Ospreay-Swerve match, does Ricochet come out and present himself as the next opponent to Swerve? Is Ricochet gonna join the Owen Hart [Foundation] Tournament and be that wild card? And Ricochet faces Swerve in [sic] Wembley?" [1:31:31 - 1:31:54]
Ricochet has been away from WWE television ever since Bron Breakker attacked him several weeks ago on RAW. It will be interesting to see if The Future of Flight makes another appearance for the Stamford-based promotion.
