Congratulations to AEW star Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho has had a legendary career in the wrestling business and is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He made a massive name for himself in WWE and over the years has managed to stay relevant by evolving his character. The veteran recently achieved another milestone in his career.
Although Jericho has achieved everything he could in this business, he is still passionate about the work he does and always manages to keep himself fresh. Even in AEW, the former WWE Champion has reinvented himself a couple of times within these past few years. Whether it's The Painmaker, Le Champion, or The Learning Tree, the 53-year-old manages to keep the fans engaged with his gimmicks.
Recently, the former AEW World Champion took to social media to announce that he has completed 34 years in the business. Jericho revealed that he had his first wrestling match against Lance Storm.
"34 years ago today, I made my pro wrestling debut vs @stormwrestlingacademy at the Moose Lodge in Ponoka, Alberta for the Canadian Wrestling Connection. It’s been an amazing ride and I’m still enjoying the journey! To all that have joined me and appreciated my work since, I say THANK YOU…the best is yet to come!"

Tony Khan says AEW would not have been possible without Chris Jericho
In 2019, Chris Jericho joined forces with The Elite and Tony Khan to launch AEW, which sent shockwaves through the industry. Since then, Jericho has been a regular feature on television and was also the first AEW World Champion. Even Khan recently acknowledged Jericho's involvement in launching All Elite Wrestling.
During a recent interview with Q93, Tony Khan said that AEW would not have happened if it weren't for Jericho.
"I don't know if it would have been possible for us to launch AEW without Chris Jericho's involvement. He's been a fixture and a great part of AEW throughout the five years," Khan said. [H/T: Fightful]
Jericho has come a long way in his career from his initial days in the business. He is currently part of the AEW roster, where he is the leader of The Learning Tree.
