Congratulations to AEW star Tony Nese

AEW star Tony Nese is celebrating a major milestone today. The 19-year veteran has found success in and out of the wrestling business, but his breaking announcement is a bit more personal.

The Premier Athlete has wrestled for various promotions over the years, including WWE, TNA, and Dragon Gate USA. Nese debuted for AEW in October 2021, just months after his WWE release, and then in February 2023, he returned to ROH for his first appearance since 2009.

Nese and his wife Liz were already the parents of a son and a daughter when they announced in late April that they are now expecting twins. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion took to Instagram today to reveal the gender of the twins, and it looks like they are boys. Like the April announcement, today's announcement was also posted from the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

"Boy oh Boy! #Twins," Tony Nese wrote with the photo of his wife seen below.

Nese's last AEW match came on December 27, as he lost a Dynamite dark match to Serpentico. His last AEW TV match was a loss to then-ROH World Champion Samoa Joe at Battle of the Belts VIII on October 21 of last year. He continues to work for ROH, teaming up with Ariya Daivari, Cole Karter, and Griff Garrison for an eight-man loss to Action Andretti, Top Flight, and Lee Johnson at the May 16 tapings.
