Controversial AEW star mocks Kenny Omega

A top AEW star has just mocked Kenny Omega during his match tonight on Dynamite, even as he tried impersonating one of his iconic moves and gestures. This would be Jack Perry.

In the opening contest of this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, The Scapegoat faced off against Dustin Rhodes in a match for a spot at the ladder match to decide the next TNT Champion at Forbidden Door.

From start to finish, the momentum was with Jack Perry, even to the point where he left the veteran all bloodied up. At a point in the match, he had Rhodes draped all over the middle rope. He took a step back and pointed a finger gun at him, similar to how Kenny Omega would set up his V-Trigger Knee Strike.

As he ran in to execute the move, however, he was countered with a Powerslam from The Natural.

Kenny Omega is still out of action as he is recovering from Diverticulitis. When he made a brief visit to AEW, he came into blows with The Elite, and they attacked him to the point where he needed to be stretchered out.

Once he's fully healthy, Omega could go after his former best friends and the faction he once belonged to. This could make for an interesting feud in the future.
