Controversial star claims The Hurt Syndicate member is "always scared" around him in AEW
A controversial AEW star claimed that a member of The Hurt Syndicate is scared to be around him. The star has had multiple confrontations with the new faction as well.
The controversial star in question is the former AEW World Tag Team Champion, Max Caster. The 35-year-old star made a claim regarding The Hurt Syndicate member, Shelton Benjamin. Although Caster performs as a babyface onscreen, he usually gets embroiled in controversy with his raps and statements on social media.
Recently, MVP, along with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate, confronted Caster in a backstage segment and revealed that the former AEW World Trios Champion still had MVP's business card and the offer to join the faction was still open. Last Saturday on Collision, Max Caster was yet again confronted by the group.
Caster took to X (fka Twitter) to react to the backstage segment from Collision and claimed that Shelton Benjamin was scared to talk around him. The Acclaimed member also disrespected Benjamin before his AEW debut. Caster wrote the following in his recent post:
"Shelton is always scared to talk around me 🤦"
MVP teases a fourth member for The Hurt Syndicate
MVP made his AEW debut several weeks ago and teased reforming The Hurt Business from his WWE days. Later, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley came along, and the trio is currently known as The Hurt Syndicate. Meanwhile, speaking on Close-up with Renee Paquette recently, MVP teased a fourth member of the group with the following statement:
"And for a while, I'd been talking to Bobby, saying, 'We have to go do this.' And at that point, Shelton [Benjamin] was already independent, and one piece of the puzzle is there; we're the other two, and we can pick up the fourth. We have to go do this, and we had a number of conversations where I was like, 'Listen, man. We have to go do this,' and fortunately, he came around."
Moreover, MVP gave offers to multiple stars, such as Lio Rush and Max Caster, to join THS. Only time will tell who the fourth member of the faction will be.
