Current AEW star responds to rumors about an appearance at the WWE Performance Center

A top AEW star made a huge claim on social media after rumors of him appearing at the WWE Performance Center surfaced. The star being discussed is Penta El Zero Miedo.

The Lucha Bros' contract expires later this year, and the duo could go to WWE. Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix have been signed to Tony Khan's company since 2019. Despite being highly experienced, the duo was hardly featured on TV last year and had not been involved in significant storylines for a couple of years.

While Penta's contract is expected to expire in August or September, the period when Fenix's contract is up is still unknown. Since the report of their contracts has surfaced, rumors have been floating around them. It was recently reported that Cero Miedo was set to visit Orlando, where WWE's Performance Centre is located.

A recent report claimed that AEW could extend their contracts due to injury time, given that Lucha Bros' deal hasn't expired yet. Penta recently responded to one of the reports claiming he was visiting Orland and debunked the rumors. He pleaded to stop spreading fake news and that he was still All Elite.

"Please stop posting fake news !! My present is AEW !!" Penta wrote.

Booker T likes the prospect of AEW tag team Lucha Bros joining WWE

Lucha Bros had made a huge name on the independent circuit before joining the Jacksonville-based promotion. The duo have won gold all around the world.

While speaking on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T stated that the duo should be moved directly to the main roster as they are extraordinary talent.

"I love it! Bring the Lucha brothers in. Put them on the main roster. You can let them cut through NXT and stuff. Those guys are extraordinary talent. Give them a chance," he said.

It remains to be seen if and when the Lucha Bros debut in the Stamford-based promotion.
