Current WWE RAW star supports Swerve Strickland; he responds
AEW star Swerve Strickland sent a wholesome message to a WWE star. The name being discussed is none other than Xavier Woods.
The former AEW World Champion has cemented his legacy as a top star in the promotion. Aside from pro wrestling, he is also a prominent rapper. He is featured in his AEW theme song, 'Big Pressure.' The song is also popular, as his manager, Prince Nana, dances to it while the duo enters the ring. Recently, Xavier Woods revealed that he is a regular listener of the song.
The New Day member is a part of one of the most successful factions in WWE history. After being babyfaces for multiple years, he and Kofi Kingston have recently turned heel. On the latest edition of RAW, the duo criticized Big E for not being there for them and turned heel by kicking him out of the group.
Recently, Woods shared a screenshot of his top songs on Spotify, where the second top tune was by his former co-worker. Later, Swerve Strickland responded to the support with a three-word message on X/Twitter.
"That's big bro," he wrote.
Swerve Strickland lavished praise on Xavier Woods
Woods has accompanied the New Day and played a huge role in the team's success. However, in 2021, he had the spotlight on himself as he received a massive singles push. He even won the 2021 King of the Ring tournament.
While speaking on Say Less, Swerve Strickland claimed that many people underestimate Xavier Woods' achievements as he has never won a big championship
"I think he is truly brilliant. But I think once again we discredit accomplishments because he's never won the big one. The stuff he's still doing for his career, period; blowing his Achilles tendon then coming back still winning King of the Ring and doing all the stuff he's doing. That's an accomplishment," he said.
It will be interesting to see if the RAW Superstar wins any big championships in WWE in the foreseeable future.
