Current WWE Superstar could participate in upcoming AEW tournament - Reports

A current WWE Superstar's contract is about to expire. She could participate in an upcoming AEW tournament soon.

Natalya has been the cornerstone of the WWE's women's division for several years. She started in the company before the women's revolution and has been a mentor to many of the women in the locker room. Throughout her illustrious career with the Stamford-based promotion, she has won numerous accolades including multiple Guinness World Records.

Natalya's contract with the Stamford-based promotion is set to expire this month and while the Stamford-based promotion has offered her a new deal, she is yet to put pen to paper. Fightful Select is now reporting that the self-proclaimed Best of All Time is expected to attract interest from several promotions across the world for some roles in addition to wrestling.

It is also reported that there is a possibility that Natalya could work the Owen Hart Cup Tournament depending on when it starts. However, AEW has yet to confirm or deny these reports.

Natalya teased a heel turn on WWE RAW

This week on WWE RAW, Natalya squared off against Kiana James who was making her debut on the red brand. After a back-and-forth, Kiana picked up the win. The BOAT was not happy with herself after the match.

She ran into Sonya Deville backstage and she informed the latter that she had had enough and it was time for a change. This could be an indication that Natalya could be teasing a heel turn quite soon based on the way she said. However, her fortune turned around on NXT when she defeated Izzi Dame.

"Enough is enough. It's time for a change," said Natala.

Natalya is currently mentoring Karmen Petrovic on NXT. Hence, it will be interesting to see what a heel turn does for their relationship moving forward.
