"Cut it right now" - Jon Moxley barges into the production room and permanently ends a 3-year-old AEW show
The fans saw Jon Moxley close out this week's Rampage show for good. The first Rampage episode aired three years ago on August 13, 2021.
The December 27, edition of Rampage featured its last episode, which ended with a huge brawl in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Moxley, The Death Riders, and their rivals fought all over the arena.
The Purveyor of Violence called out his enemies and challenged them to stand up against him on the show. Top Flight and Komander showed up but were blindsided by The Death Riders. This forced Orange Cassidy to come out, but Marina Shafir stood in his way. Willow Nightingale made her presence known and handled Shafir while Jay White and Hangman Adam Page came and joined the brawl.
The fans then saw Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir slip out of the arena into backstage. They barged into the production room to permanently end Rampage.
"I'm looking for answers. Who's responsible for all this? How are you supposed to do your job with all this chaos going out there? They're all fighting for scraps. But I will put an end to the chaos on December 28 and I will clear the playing field and I will bring peace to my people. And right now what I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna put an end to Rampage. Cut it. Cut it right now."
Jon Moxley and The Death Riders decimate Darby Allin on Rampage
Claudio Castagnoli beat Darby Allin in the C2 tournament by using brass knuckles on him. Allin retaliated by advising Komander to do the same during his match against The Swiss Cyborg on Dynamite on 34th Street.
Moxley and his allies made Allin pay for his actions on Rampage New Year's Smash edition. They caught him backstage and tortured him in the staircase area.
Castagnoli seemingly broke his neck using a chair, which was followed by Jon Moxley kicking him down a flight of stairs.
