Darby Allin beats returning masked AEW wrestler on Collision

On the latest episode of Collision, Darby Allin took the win over a certain masked AEW original. This came ahead of his crucial match at Dynamite: Grand Slam next week against Jon Moxley.

Tonight, he faced Evil Uno, who has not been seen on Collision since the February 28 episode when he teamed up with the rest of his faction mates in trios action. The two ran into each other before their match. Allin wanted him to prove how great he was and do his best in the ring. He wouldn't take anything else from the Dark Order member.

Moments into his entrance, Darby Allin walked over to the commentary desk and briefly stared down Nigel McGuinness. The reason for this was not revealed, but Nigel assumed it was because of his comments berating Allin for giving into Jon Moxley's mind games and giving him a free shot at his world title opportunity.

The former TNT Champion brought out great intensity for the match, as this could also serve as his preparation for his match next week. He ended up taking the win after hitting Evil Uno with a Coffin Drop after brief exchanges of offense between them.

Now, he heads into next week with great momentum. Moxley holds the record as the man on the roster with the most world title reigns, and he could be looking for his 4th after he clears Allin, while Darby Allin will look to go for his first AEW world title.
