Darby Allin had a very wholesome surprise after winning the AEW Royal Rampage

Since the inception of AEW, Darby Allin has been one of their biggest attractions. The 31-year-old has faced some of the top names in the company and has also won the TNT Championship twice. Furthermore, he has once held the promotion's World Tag Team Championship with the legendary Sting.

Allin recently added another feather to his cap by winning the 20-man Royal Rampage Battle Royal, in the latest episode of Rampage. The person who he eliminated to win the entire ordeal was Blackpool Combat Club's Claudio Castagnoli. Interestingly, this is Allin's second 20-man Royal Rampage Battle Royal triumph, as he emerged victorious in the previous iteration of the competition last year.

After winning the match mentioned above, the former TNT Champion celebrated with fans in the arena. Moreover, AEW's official X/Twitter handle posted a video of Allin, who was seen sharing a wholesome moment with a young fan, who was dressed up as him. The little boy also had a facepaint like his idol and he certainly will remember the night when Allin celebrated with him.

Ex-WWE superstar Booker T believes that AEW "created" Darby Allin

Darby Allin has several well-wishers and one of them is the five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Booker T.

In a recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, the 59-year-old stated that the credit for making the Royal Rampage Battle Royal winner a star goes to AEW.

"I will say they created Darby Allin. Because Darby was an indie guy. He was a straight-up indie guy before he came to AEW. No one knew Darby Allin. And I think Tony Khan going out on a limb and giving this kid a shot, and putting him in a highlighted position — I feel like AEW, I wouldn’t say created, but they gave that kid the rub to become a starl," said Booker T.
