Dax Harwood fires shots at MJF after he lashes out at huge AEW announcement
MJF is arguably one of the best heels in the business right now and recently he lashed out at an announcement made by AEW. This caught the attention of Dax Harwood.
Maxwell Jacob Friedman's work on the mic is exceptional, and he has the in-ring acumen to back it up. Friedman always seems to be in character whether he is on TV, on social media, or during interviews. Recently, AEW announced that Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada will put their titles on the line when they face each other on the fifth-anniversary edition of Dynamite. However, Okada's title will only be on the line for the first 20 minutes of the match meaning Danielson will need to win before that to become a double champion. On the flip side, this same stipulation doesn't apply to The American Dragon.
After this announcement was made, MJF took to social media to criticize it since the stipulation was too hard for him to understand. Dax Harwood responded to the former AEW World Champion in an attempt to poke the bear further.
"Tell me you didn’t watch early NWA/WCW TV Title matches without telling me you didn’t watch early NWA/WCW TV Title matches."
Dax Harwood recently achieved a major milestone
Dax Harwood is one of the best tag team wrestlers in the world. He is known for being a tough guy in the ring. Throughout his career, he has been around the world and won championships everywhere he has gone. He recently completed a milestone in his career.
Harwood recently took to social media to announce the 20th anniversary of his first professional wrestling match.
"Today, 20 years ago, I wrestled my very first professional wrestling match. Friday the 13th, 2004. I’m trying to wrap my mind around it. (..) 20 years?! I remember as a kid watching Bret Hart win the 1993 King of the Ring. I told my mom, I wanted to be a wrestler when I grew up. I was obsessed. I remember as a kid, walking to my friend’s house, passing a long stretch of bushes, and high fiving every leaf on the way, as if they were each a fan of mine, hoping one day that amount of people would love me."
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are currently one of the best tag teams in All Elite Wrestling. FTR is the two-time AEW Tag Team Champions, their latest tag team title reign came to an end on the October 7, 2023, edition of Collision, where they lost to Big Bill and Ricky Starks.
