Death Riders' victim sends two-word message ahead of this week's AEW Dynamite
A top AEW star, who The Death Riders recently victimized, has sent a message to his upcoming opponent for this week's Dynamite. The talent in question, Jay White, will take on PAC this Wednesday.
The Englishman assaulted the Switchblade on the November 27 episode of Dynamite during his confrontation with Hangman Page. White fell to the numbers advantage of The Death Riders and was choked out by Jon Moxley and then by Marina Shafir before being further beaten down by the group, even suffering a shot to the head from PAC with the briefcase containing Moxley's AEW World Championship.
The Bang Bang Gang member retaliated by laying out Wheeler Yuta after the latter's defeat at the hands of Adam Page on Collision and evidently has his sights set on The One True King of AEW. Subsequently, the promotion announced that Jay White would take on PAC one-on-one on the upcoming episode of Dynamite.
Ahead of his clash with The Man That Gravity Forgot on Wednesday, King Switch took to X/Twitter to send a two-word message to his opponent, posting a picture from their rivalry over the Unified World Trios Titles from earlier this year.
"Death Ride," wrote White.
Potential plans for AEW World Title bout for the company's upcoming pay-per-view
Following the chaotic conclusion of Full Gear 2024 and the events that unfolded afterward on Dynamite and Collision, viewers of All Elite Wrestling have been speculating about who Jon Moxley's next challenger for the AEW World Championship could be, seeing how the leader of The Death Riders is under the crosshairs of Jay White, Hangman Page and possibly even Christian Cage, who holds a contractually-guaranteed shot at the belt.
Speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez claimed that the Tony Khan-led company may be planning a four-way match for the world title at AEW Worlds End 2024, with Moxley potentially defending against White, Page, and Cage, albeit expressing some doubt over The Patriarch's inclusion.
"I believe that it is a four-way, in fact I was flat out told it will be a four-way, but I was not told who the four were. I think [Hangman] Page, Jay [White] and Moxley are three of them, but I am also not sure Christian [Cage] is going to be the fourth guy, but if he's not, I don't know who the fourth guy is going to be," he said.
It remains to be seen if The Purveyor of Violence will walk out of Worlds End with his World Championship still in his possession.
