Details of Sting's negative reaction to son's wrestling training after AEW retirement disclosed
The WWE Hall of Famer Sting's son revealed why The Icon had a negative reaction to his wrestling training. The youngster began his in-ring training after his father's retirement.
Sting got his dream retirement from in-ring competition earlier this year at AEW Revolution. The Icon's sons also came out alongside him during his entrance for his final match. It was recently revealed that The Icon's son, Steven Borden has begun wrestling training with Adam Copeland and Darby Allin.
Meanwhile, Steven Borden also confirmed that he has been training to be a wrestler. During his appearance on The Von Erichs YT channel, Borden disclosed the following about the same:
"Much different (performing in front of crowds in football in comparison to wrestling). I’ve hardly ever stepped into a wrestling ring in my life up until Revolution. Again, we just weren’t involved (growing up), and now that I’ve started wrestling training and all that stuff, I’ve had a thought about… there’s a lot of me that thinks a lot of wrestling is harder than football."
Steven Borden also revealed that his dad didn't respond positively after knowing that he wanted to wrestle and detailed why:
"When I told him (Sting) I wanted to wrestle? Uh, no (he was not excited). That was a tough conversation… You guys (Von Erichs) probably got a similar lecture." [H/T: Post Wrestling]

Sting's son revealed which AEW stars he has been training with
Sting's son, Steven Borden also disclosed that he is currently training with the AEW stars such as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR, Adam Copeland (fka Edge). Borden also spoke about his family:
"Yeah (I’m training), as often as I can. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Asheville training with Dax and Cash and Adam and that will probably end up being a more long-term thing at some point pretty soon. It’s just a timing thing. But right now, I’m just literally flying back-and-forth. I’ve got a family here in California; a 15-month-old daughter and my wife." [H/T Post Wrestling]
Moreover, as Steven Borden continues his training, many fans would be wanting to see him in the ring sooner rather than later. Only time will tell what the future has in store for The Icon's son.
