Dolph Ziggler on big team-up with former WWE star: "It's the coolest thing in the world"

Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth) recently commented on teaming up with a former WWE star. The talent in question is none other than The Showoff's brother, Ryan Nemeth.

Nic Nemeth gained popularity in WWE, where he worked from 2004 to 2023. He was released from his contract last year in September along with many other stars. Ryan was also part of the global juggernaut between 2011 and 2013. However, the Nemeth brothers never teamed up together in the company.

Dolph Ziggler recently appeared on the Busted Open podcast. During the show, he talked about teaming up with his brother for the first time at TNA Wrestling's Against All Odds pay-per-view. Despite being on the losing end, The Showoff enjoyed competing alongside Ryan.

“It’s the coolest thing in the world. We’ve had one tag match together ever, and it was 24 hours ago, so hopefully we can put it together against an extra-capable tag team, especially [with] the spotlight on us, PPV, TNA Against All Odds. Sold out, tonight, baby. Hopefully, we can come through with the big spotlight on us. We’re always trying to do something different. Ryan’s constantly writing these ideas and doing different things. He does most of the heavy lifting almost all the time.” [H/T: ewrestlingnews.com]

Dolph Ziggler comments on Sting's future in pro wrestling

On a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth) commented on Sting's pro wrestling future. The former World Heavyweight Champion said he was thoroughly impressed with The Icon's performances in AEW. For those unaware, Stinger retired from in-ring competition at Revolution 2024.

Ziggler speculated that The Franchise might return to WWE following his retirement match in AEW.

"Maybe he goes to WWE right away. You never know. Maybe we never see him in AEW. Maybe he’s retired and done, or he’s working behind the scenes in WWE now. So however that worked out, I’m so glad it did the way it did because seeing Sting in AEW that last year or two, oh my, [it was] so awesome to see!"

Sting wrestled his last match in March 2024. He partnered with Darby Allin to take on The Young Bucks. The face-painted duo grabbed the victory and retained their AEW World Tag Team Championship.
