Drew McIntyre leaving WWE for AEW All In would "turn Wembley Stadium inside out," according to veteran

A WWE veteran recently shared his thoughts on Drew McIntyre potentially showing up at AEW's upcoming All In event. The show is set to take place in London, England, meaning that the UK crowd will no doubt be overjoyed to see The Scottish Warrior make an appearance.

McIntyre's status with WWE has been up in the air recently. Some reports suggest that he is unhappy with the Stamford-based promotion and won't be signing an extension on his contract.

The former WWE Champion still has a lot in the gas tank. Many have speculated that he could be angling for a move to Tony Khan's promotion once his current contract runs out.

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, former WWE personality, and writer Eric Bischoff stated that McIntyre appearing at All In would "turn Wembley Stadium inside out". While it is hard to argue this point, only time will tell if this will come to fruition.

Drew McIntyre's possible AEW debut will have to wait

While it would be a monumental occasion to have someone like Drew McIntyre, with star power, make his AEW debut at the company's biggest-ever show, it looks almost impossible for this to happen. According to The Wrestling Obeserver's Dave Meltzer, McIntyre's current deal with WWE will only expire well after the Wembley Stadium show takes place this August.

Nonetheless, Eric Bischoff stated that he could see Drew McIntyre joining AEW somewhere down the line:

"With Drew, I could see a scenario where he thinks 'You know what? I still got gas in my tank and I want to see if I can climb a little higher'. And if Drew is getting the sense that he's getting lost in the shuffle creatively or if there's no opportunity [in WWE] I could see him making the move. It's not always about the money and going to AEW, the money's gonna be there for Drew if that happens. He's not going to be hurting for cash that's for sure."
