Dustin Rhodes' future plans outside AEW officially confirmed

AEW veteran Dustin Rhodes has confirmed what was next for his career, and he is set once more to represent another major promotion on a big stage. This would be at Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome.

Last night at Final Battle, he and Sammy Guevara, also known as The Sons of Texas, defended their ROH Tag Team titles in a Double Bullrope match against The Righteous. During the night, they received a challenge from SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru of The House of Torture. They were challenged to a match at Wrestle Dynasty, where their titles will be on the line.

After the pay-per-view, The Sons of Texas were shown backstage as they addressed their victory and how, despite this unexpected partnership, they now remain an undefeated tag team. Sammy Guevara then brought up the crossover pay-per-view, and they accepted the challenge.

This would be Sammy Guevara's debut in an NJPW event at the Tokyo Dome, while The Natural will be making his return to the iconic venue for the first time since 1993.

Several AEW stars also set for an appearance at Wrestle Dynasty

With the crossover pay-per-view taking place in almost two weeks, the match card has already taken shape. Several champions and top stars from AEW are set to grace the Tokyo Dome on January 5.

Here is a brief list of what fans can expect at the crossover pay-per-view.
