Dustin Rhodes gets asked about one final match with Cody Rhodes for "titles"; AEW star responds

Current ROH World Tag Team Champion Dustin Rhodes (fka Goldust) was recently asked about a potential final match with Cody Rhodes. The veteran responded with an interesting message.

Dustin Rhodes is a legend in pro wrestling, as he has been part of the business since 1988. He has competed for multiple major promotions such as WWE, WCW, TNA Wrestling, and more during his career. The 55-year-old has been signed with AEW since 2019.

The Natural is currently active in the Tony Khan-owned Ring of Honor, where he is the ROH World Tag Team Champion and World Six-Man Tag Team Champion alongside Sammy Guevara and the Von Erichs, respectively. Amid much speculation about his in-ring future, Dustin has confirmed that he would not retire anytime soon.

A fan on X/Twitter recently claimed that Dustin never got the push he deserved. They also asked Dustin Rhodes to share the ring with Cody Rhodes one last time to pursue championship gold.

Dustin responded to the post with the following message:

"What are you talking about? My body of work is exceptional! And, I ain't done yet. I want it all and will bust my a** as long as my health will allow me to. "

Cody Rhodes stretchered out of the arena after a recent WWE event

At the recently concluded Saturday Night's Main Event, Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. Rhodes brought back the classic Winged Eagle version of the title belt for the bout. At the end of the hard-hitting match, The American Nightmare retained his gold by putting Owens down with a Cross Rhodes.

In an exclusive, unaired footage, Kevin Owens was seen attacking Rhodes and dropping him with a Package Piledriver after the contest. Ultimately, The American Nightmare was taken out on a stretcher.

The rivalry between Rhodes and Owens is seemingly far from over. Only time will tell what's next in the compelling storyline.
