Dustin Rhodes makes a major announcement, addresses AEW status and mentions brother Cody Rhodes
Over the years, Dustin Rhodes has solidified himself as an industry legend. The 55-year-old is still going strong and is not showing any sign of calling it a day. Furthermore, he is the reigning ROH World Tag Team Champion (with Sammy Guevara) and the reigning ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion (with Marshall and Ross Von Erich).
The Natural has been wrestling for almost the last four decades. A few hours ago, he released a detailed statement on X, where he reminisced about his illustrious career. The erstwhile Goldust also wrote that his heart is with All Elite Wrestling and gave a shout-out to his brother, the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes.
Most importantly, the 55-year-old announced that he and AEW backstage interviewer Alex Marvez are currently working on his new book.
"Man, just sitting here reminiscing on my career and all the history I have made. This business has been so good to me for so long. Reason I am thinking about it is because I am writing my second book with @alexmarvez soon. I truly am rich with stories and passion and just want to express my gratitude to all of you fans who have followed me for so long. Truly has been an incredible journey of a lifetime!" he wrote.
Dustin Rhodes continued:
"True fans make me feel alive. I have loved every place I have worked, but my heart truly is with @AEW. Why? Because at the beginning, my brother [Cody] and I set the place on fire, and one for the ages, which allowed me to find my passion again. Truly grateful!"
