Eddie Kingston calls Tony Khan out following AEW All Out controversy
The sixth annual AEW All Out pay-per-view is in the books. The big event appears to have been another success for the company, but it was not without controversy. Eddie Kingston is known to be one of AEW's most outspoken stars, and he has called Tony Khan out over what happened last night.
The All Out co-main event saw Bryan Danielson retain the AEW World Championship over TNT Champion Jack Perry. PAC and The Blackpool Combat Club stopped The Patriarchy from attacking Danielson after the match, but the celebration abruptly ended when Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli turned on Danielson.
The Lunatic Fringe choked The American Dragon out with a plastic bag over his head as Marina Shafir came out to toss the referee. Fans chanted "This is murder!" as the four heels left while an emotional Wheeler Yuta helped Danielson. A shocked crowd looked on in silence as medics tended to the world champion with oxygen.
Kingston revealed earlier this year how he pitched the plastic bag spot to Khan during his 2022 feud with Chris Jericho, but was denied multiple times amid additional concern from WBD. The spot was made famous in 1989 when Terry Funk used one on Ric Flair.
The Mad King took to Instagram today to share a fan-made graphic that depicted him at home watching All Out. It was implied that Khan had denied Kingston's pitches for spots with a chair and the plastic bag, which took place at All Out. The image also implied that the President had declined a pitch involving a match with gas cans. Kingston captioned the post with an endorsement.
"I'm just going to leave this here," Eddie Kingston wrote.

Kingston dropped the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship to Gabriel Kidd on May 11 and has not wrestled since, after suffering from a torn ACL, meniscus, and a fractured tibia. The 22-year veteran was pulled from Double Or Nothing's Anarchy In The Arena Match and underwent surgery in early July. He is expected to be on the shelf until May 2025.
Potential title match for AEW Dynamite
All Elite Wrestling will return to the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky on Wednesday. This week's Dynamite will feature the fallout from All Out and will include the build to WrestleDream.
AEW has not announced a lineup for Wednesday, but Queen Aminata has challenged Mariah May to put the Women's World Championship on the line. The All Out pre-show saw May attack the injured Skye Blue, only to be chased away by Aminata.
AEW has not confirmed Aminata vs. May as of this writing. The Glamour dethroned Toni Storm at All In, then made her first successful title defense last week on Dynamite when she defeated Nyla Rose.
