Eddie Kingston has an epic reply when asked "about the type of women he's into"

Former Continental Champion Eddie Kingston was featured as a guest on the first episode of AEW's latest non-wrestling show, Meal & A Match, hosted by Renee Paquette and RJ City. The three ended up watching a match while having a meal, and Paquette and RJ asked Kingston several questions during the segment.

One of the questions was how The Mad King would approach a lady at the bar, and the former ROH Champion took his time to answer the question.

"If I am at a bar, then I am drinking and watching the game. The girl's hot enough, and she's next to me, and I don't have to get up," he said.

Renee then asked about the type of woman The Mad King liked.

"She's hot.. what's your type? Do you have a type?" she asked.

Eddie responded with:

"Yeah!''

Renee went in for the kill.

'What's your type?" she asked.

The Mad King responded with a one-word answer.

"Women!" he countered.

Update on Eddie Kingston's return to the ring

Eddie Kingston was set to be with Team AEW for the Anarchy in The Arena Match at Double or Nothing 2024. However, an injury during his No Ropes Last Man Standing Match against Gabe King at NJPW Resurgence last weekend has put the former champion out of action.

Kingston suffered a tubular fracture on his leg during a spot on the outer part of the ring. A table was set near the metal barricade and when the 42-year-old was suplexed through the table, his leg hit the rail. According to reports, Eddie Kingston's return to action at All In 2024 will depend on whether his injury requires surgery or not.

Consequently, Eddie Kingston was replaced by former TNT Champion Darby Allin in Team AEW (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, and Bryan Danielson) for the upcoming Anarchy in The Arena Match against Team Elite (Jack Perry, Nicholas Jackson, Matthew Jackson, and Kazuchika Okada) at AEW Double or Nothing PPV.
