Eric Bischoff rips Jon Moxley's faction as AEW's nWo 2.0, unleashes brutal Dynamite review

AEW is set to present the Full Gear go-home edition of Dynamite this week. The company recently came through a period of several Wednesday night specials, and they recently inked a new media rights deal with WBD. While things may seem up-and-coming to many, with Jon Moxley and The Death Riders on top, Eric Bischoff has offered his unique expertise to explain why the product is in trouble.

The Purveyor of Violence taking over the Superstation TBS was the main theme of last week's live Dynamite episode. Moxley arrived with Marina Shafir, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli and then had a promo exchange with Orange Cassidy ahead of their World Championship match at Full Gear. Darby Allin then attacked The Death Riders, but he was destroyed by Castagnoli, allowing the heels to escape in their truck.

Bischoff usually does not watch All Elite Wrestling's weekly show, but he tuned in last Wednesday as he was intrigued by the idea of Moxley taking over TBS. The former New World Order boss earlier lashed out over AEW breaking a major television rule with The Death Riders. While also speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, the veteran delivered a scathing review of Dynamite and mocked the company's "Where the best Wrestle" catchphrase.

"Just everything about it was so low budget, ill-conceived, and stupid. 'We're the best wrestle!' ... my a*s! That was some of the most horrible wrestling I've ever sat down and forced myself to watch. Some matches were OK, but it was garbage, from beginning to the end. I watched it last night because... There's nothing about it that I find interesting or compelling, but I heard about, basically a big reset, Jon Moxley's taking over TBS," Eric Bischoff said. [From 8:48 to 9:25]

Bischoff continued and labeled The Death Riders as AEW's nWo 2.0. The former WCW executive wrapped his savage Dynamite review by declaring that last week's episode was one of the worst wrestling shows he's ever watched.

"OK, here we go again... [rolls eyes] nWo version 2.0 in AEW, the first one worked so well they decided to do it again. I thought, 'Well, I'm going to give it a shot, maybe it is a real reset, maybe they're going to approach the product differently, maybe I'm going to see something to get me excited and to make me think that there's hope,' and instead, I think it was one of the worst wrestling shows I've ever watched, from the concrete floor in the arena, up. It was so bad. So bad," Eric Bischoff added. [From 9:26 to 9:58]

Vince Russo is another Attitude Era legend who shared his brutal thoughts on the All Elite product this week. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the former WCW World Champion lashed out over Tony Khan's recent praise and made bold comments on why Khan got into the business.
