Ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion to end his 25-year wrestling career at AEW All In, says Tommy Dreamer
Tommy Dreamer has predicted that a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be ending his 25-year wrestling career at AEW All In on August 25. This will be an emotional event if it does indeed happen.
The star in question is none other than Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan). The American Dragon is set to face Swerve Strickland at Wembley Stadium, and he has said that he will retire from wrestling if he fails to win the AEW World Championship at the event.
Now, Tommy Dreamer has predicted that Danielson will lose the match at All In and that he will ride off into the sunset. He was speaking on Busted Open Radio when he said:
“Swerve puts the nail in Bryan Danielson’s coffin and then he rides off to the sunset. End of the day, that match is going to be the end of the show. If he loses, you’re still going to get 45/50,000 people doing ‘Yes! Yes! Yes!’ Bryan Danielson crying, kissing Birdie, kissing Brie [Bella], saying goodbye to the wrestling business. There is no bad outcome. The only bad outcome is you don’t get to see Bryan Danielson wrestle anymore, which sucks.” [H/T EWrestling News]

Former WWE star Bryan Danielson has termed his upcoming match against Swerve Strickland at AEW All In the biggest match of his career.
The assessment is right, given that if he loses, then he will have to retire from in-ring competition. He was speaking to The Sun Sport when he said:
"This feels to me like the biggest match of my career. I put my career on the line. If I lose, I’m gonna retire. I’m at that stage of my career, if I can’t win the AEW World Championship, then I should probably be kind of done. So yeah, I’m really looking forward to it. For us, for people of my generation, Wembley is a culturally iconic moment within wrestling."
It will be interesting to see what happens at All In, given that it could be the last match for the former WWE star.
