"FAKE NEWS!!!!!" - MJF shuts down claims that he underwent a major procedure

MJF came out fighting amid claims that he underwent a major procedure. He even labeled them fake news. The AEW American Champion aimed this barb at Kyle Fletcher.

The Aussie star and Maxwell Jacob Friedman have always been at odds and things got a bit out of hand recently. The latter is in a heated rivalry with Fletcher’s best friend, Will Ospreay, and will be taking on him at All In pay-per-view with his American Championship on the line.

The Wolf of Wrestling initially sent out an insult to Fletcher, making fun of his hair. That prompted an immediate response from the Aussie. He wrote:

“Wanna talk about hair? How was that trip to Turkey homie?”

He implied that Maxwell had gone to Turkey to get a hair transplant. The champ was not going to stay quiet and hit back, claiming that it was false news.

"FAKE NEWS!!!!!" he wrote.

MJF wants to face Mistico in a first-time-ever match

It is not often that MJF shares his thoughts on who he wants to fight, but this past week was different. He was about to make his debut in CMLL and shared that he wanted to face Mistico.

Mistico is a former WWE star and was known under the name Sin Cara. He is now a part of CMLL and makes rare appearances in AEW. The American Champion was asked who he would like to face, to which he said:

“Mistico. Outside of that, money talks. You want to see MJF here again, it either has to be the matchup of a lifetime or mucho dinero. I got better stuff to do, like count my money on Long Island, New York."

It will be interesting to see if this idea comes to fruition and whether Tony Khan would be on board with it. Given the fact that CMLL wrestlers appear in AEW from time to time, the match could become a reality.
