Female AEW personality sends a message to MJF; says she's "beyond thankful" to him
A notable name from AEW recently shared a heartfelt message for MJF. The personality in question is none other than Amanda Huber.
Amanda is the wife of the late AEW star Brodie Lee (Jon Huber) and has been an important part of All Elite Wrestling since 2020. She has great a relationship with many talents within the promotion including the company's President Tony Khan. All Elite Wrestling recently announced the launch of the special Brodie Lee sneakers in collaboration with Reebok.
On X (formerly Twitter), AEW posted a video of MJF speaking about the sneakers while remembering the legacy of Brodie Lee. Amanda Huber reacted to the clip and thanked the former AEW World Champion for his words.
"Beyond thankful that @The_MJF shared this story, even when he didn’t have to. As a reminder you can get a pair today at @champssports Roosevelt Field Mall location from 12-3 or online Monday 7/1."
Ric Flair names AEW star MJF as one of his favorite wrestlers
Maxwell Jacob Friedman has often been compared to many wrestling legends including WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair due to his incredible heel work. However, The Nature Boy seems to be a fan of MJF.
Speaking in an interview with SB Nation, the 16-time World Champion named MJF, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and more as some of his favorite performers after his daughter, Charlotte Flair.
"Well number one would be my daughter [Charlotte Flair], of course. But Randy [Orton], AJ [Styles]. I mean I like a lot of guys, like MJF. It’s hard to pick out four or five guys, but I mean we got great, great talent in both companies. You know, it’s hard to say who’s the best but I have some favorites. The Young Bucks are just absolutely sensational. What a phenomenal match they gave Sting and Darby [Allin]. (Laughing) Darby is too much, man. Orange Cassidy is one of my favorites. I mean, all those guys are great, wonderful people.” [H/T: SB Nation]
MJF recently made his return to All Elite Wrestling at the Double or Nothing PPV. It will be interesting to see if he sets his sights on the World Championship after the Forbidden Door 2024.
