Female AEW star claims she is glad WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson needs her "clout"
An AEW star spoke out about an interesting past encounter with WWE legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently. The star in question is none other than CJ Perry, fka Lana.
The incident dates back to October 6, 2014, when The Rock made a surprise return to RAW in New York, and found himself face to face with Miro and Lana. The confrontation quickly escalated, with The People's Champion physically engaging with Miro.
The Rock even made a comment about a romantic encounter with Lana in a hotel during a backstage segment two years later on TV, involving him, Perry, and Miro, where he referred to her as 'hot and flexible.'
Speaking on interview with Chris Van Vliet, former WWE star Perry said that some of The Rock's comments were uncalled for.
"I'm glad he feels like he needs my clout." (H/T- Wrestling Inc)
Furthermore, she said the idea that if others are going to insult you, so acknowledge those names yourself before they can.
"I mean, this is the thing I've realized. If people are going to call you names, you might as well just call it to yourself first, and then you take away all their power," CJ Perry said.

Former WWE Superstar Miro fka Rusev on The Rock's controversial comments on CJ Perry
Former WWE star Miro shed light on his past encounter with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
Speaking in an interview with talkSPORT, Miro said that The Rock's claims of a romantic affair between himself and Lana were an act of revenge.
“The first one was better, the one in Brooklyn. He showed up out of nowhere, we had a little talk and scuffle. I think that left a sour taste in his mouth. Even though he beat me up a little bit, I got the better of him. Maybe he was just sour about that, so he had to come back and talk bad about Lana, imagining things," Miro said.
It seems that Miro still has unfinished business with The Rock due to their previous encounters.
