Female AEW star wants to form a new tag team with Orange Cassidy after heartbreaking betrayal

A female AEW star has revealed that she wants to form a new tag team with Orange Cassidy. This comes at the heels after the former International Champion was betrayed by his former best friend, Kris Statlander.

The star in question is none other than Willow Nightingale. Willow is one star who has always come to Orange's rescue when Kris Statlander and her people attack him. The Galaxy's Greatest Alien even betrayed Willow at Double or Nothing.

The former TBS Champion is genuinely likable, and she has won even more hearts with these comments. Nightingale was speaking to Fightful’s Iridian Fierro for WGN Radio when she said:

"I mean, we're both people who have good hearts. He may be a little more 'whatever' about situations, but when he has passion about something, he has passion about something, and we were both back backstabbed by people we trust. So we found common ground in that, and I've known him for a while. You know, he was on the same scene that I was in before AEW, but this is something that kind of relinked us together. it would be cool to share the ring. I would love that. But we'll see. we'll see what happens. Like I said, go with the flow. We'll see what happens week by week." [H/T Fightful]

Orange Cassidy speaks highly of AEW star Will Ospreay

Will Ospreay is one of the best stars in AEW. Despite losing his first singles match since signing for the company against Swerve Strickland last week, he is still one of the promotion's top names.

Orange Cassidy, a star in his own right, lavished praise on the Englishman and called him perfect. Speaking to WHO 13’s Mark Freund, Cassidy said:

"He's a savant of wrestling. He does everything so effortlessly and perfect. It kind of makes you frustrated about how a person could exist that can just immediately get something, I think the thing that Will Ospreay embodies in his wrestling is, it's exciting. Everything he does is exciting and suspenseful. So yeah, I don't want to talk about him that much because I'm still upset he has my championship."

It will be interesting to see what Will Ospreay will say about this.
