Female star calls out AEW for latest social media post - "Disrespect"
Several shocking twists have taken place in recent weeks as AEW builds toward a massive Forbidden Door pay-per-view at the end of the month. For many fans, one of the most unexpected events was the heel turn of former TBS Champion Kris Statlander, who has now called the company out for disrespecting her.
Statlander was a longtime fan favorite as a member of Best Friends. Unfortunately, the popular stable seems to be broken beyond repair. Kris has demonstrated her newfound ruthlessness by turning on Willow Nightingale and then shockingly betraying Orange Cassidy.
Ahead of tonight's AEW Collision, the Jacksonville-based promotion took to social media to promote Statlander's match against rising star Robyn Renegade. However, the company took a few jabs at Statlander and her manager, Stokely Hathaway, in the announcement.
The 28-year-old responded indignantly, calling out AEW for disrespecting her:
"The disrespect ??" Statlander wrote.

Top AEW star blames Orange Cassidy for her betrayal
When news broke that Chuck Taylor might be forced into retirement from in-ring competition, the Best Friends imploded. Trent Beretta, who had already turned on Taylor and the group, set out on his own path. Shortly after, Kris Statlander also turned to the dark side, attacking Willow Nightingale and even Orange Cassidy.
Cassidy has now been left to pick up the pieces by himself, but according to Statlander, he has no one to blame but himself. Despite the two having supported each other for years, the former TBS Champion claimed in a recent promo that it was always her holding the Freshly Squeezed star up, and he never repaid her in kind:
"All I ever wanted, Orange, was to be your best friend. But you, you were never mine," she said.
Kris Statlander has now set out on a journey to claim glory for herself, but it doesn't seem like it'll be an easy one. Standing in her way is another former friend she betrayed, Willow Nightingale, who seems determined to get payback.
