"Follow the buzzards" - Former AEW star drops amazing Fiend-inspired tribute
Former AEW star Jeff Hardy showcased his new face paint in memory of the late Bray Wyatt. Jeff paid tribute to the former WWE Champion through his recent social media post.
Bray sadly passed away last year but is still remembered through his incredible moments in the pro wrestling industry. The Stamford-based promotion also introduced a new faction named The Wyatt Sicks to pay tribute to The New Face of Fear by revealing Uncle Howdy as the stable's leader.
Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy recently paid tribute to Bray Wyatt outside WWE. After he departed from AEW, the 47-year-old star made his return to TNA Wrestling and has been performing there alongside his brother, Matt Hardy. During a recent TNA Impact taping, The Charismatic Enigma came out with a new face paint that pays homage to Bray's character, The Fiend.
After the TNA taping, Jeff Hardy showed off his face paint which was similar to The Fiend to pay tribute to the late Bray Wyatt through a post on his official Instagram handle. Jeff also wrote "follow the buzzards" in the caption with The Wyatt Sicks' music playing in the background.
It remains to be seen whether Jeff will return to WWE somewhere down the line.
Matt Hardy on The Hardy Boyz' booking in AEW
A few months ago, Matt Hardy aired his frustration regarding the booking of The Hardy Boyz in AEW. While speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the 49-year-old stated the following:
"We didn’t win any tag team matches for a year. It’s crazy. We’re The Hardys; we didn’t win a tag team match on TV in a year. And I mean, I brought this point up like, ‘What are we doing? Like we need — just to give us a win. We don’t need to be the champions, we don’t need to be undefeated. But just like, we need a win at some point.' And it was just very frustrating."
Meanwhile, The Hardy Boyz continue to have a tag team run in TNA Wrestling and only time will tell what the future has in store for the WWE legends.
