Former AEW champion crashes real-life party; brags about it on social media
A former AEW champion crashed a real-life party and went as far as to brag about it on social media. This will no doubt get the fans talking.
The star in question is none other than Darby Allin. Allin, who has a very intriguing persona, keeps to himself on screen and does not appear to enjoy other's company that much. However that is only on screen as he is a totally different person in real life as was made evident with his latest social media post.
The former AEW TNT Champion took to X/Twitter to post a photo with a young boy who was celebrating his birthday. Darby Allin wrote that he joined a random birthday party and taught everyone to drop the coffin drop.
“Pulled up at a random birthday party and taught everyone the coffin drop, lol. Little homie in background mid coffin drop,” he wrote.
Cody Rhodes thinks Darby Allin can be the face of AEW
Darby Allin has been with AEW since its inception and now Cody Rhodes has revealed that he thinks the former can be the face of the company.
Darby has not yet won the big title but the Undisputed WWE Champion believes that he has the potential to be the big one in the company. Cody was speaking with Josh Martinez when he said:
"The answer is a guaranteed yes. But, don’t let Darby fool you. He was never insecure, and he was never not confident. Darby is almost overconfident, and that’s what we do. We talk smack; we wrestle each other. This is entertainment. I don’t mind it, but sometimes, your overconfidence is actually arrogance, when in his case, instead of it being arrogance, the experience that he’s had."
If Cody’s prediction does indeed come true, then it will be great for Tony Khan’s company given that Darby is one of the cornerstones of the company.
