Former AEW champion's blockbuster return teased just before WrestleDream 2024
With AEW WrestleDream taking place tomorrow night, there is heavy anticipation for the surprises that could take place at the pay-per-view. A top star, Brody King, hinted at a former champion's return just a few hours before the event, this being Julia Hart.
The former TBS Champion has not been seen since she dropped her title back in April at Dynasty to Willow Nightingale. She has since been dealing with an arm injury and has been working to return to the ring. Pre-injury, she was one of the women on the roster with the more impressive win-loss records, and this was what brought her to the title scene.
During a recent interview with Stephanie Chase, co-House of Black member Brody King spoke about when Julia Hart could return to AEW. He mentioned how she has been hinting at this being soon, and she seems to be wanting to go after the title she lost. Currently, Mercedes Moné is the TBS Champion and she may find herself with another major challenger in Hart.
“I think we should be seeing her very soon. She’s been dropping hints here and there. I think she’s ready to come back for her title,” said Brody. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
Hart and Brody have often stood ringside for each other's matches, and with the latter having a match tomorrow night at AEW WrestleDream, could the Princess of the Black Throne get involved and help him secure his win?
Julia Hart recently posted a picture of herself with Brody King amidst her AEW hiatus
Among The House of Black members, Brody King and Julia Hart seem to have a connection, and the two have always been spotted alongside one another.
Recently, Hart took to her Instagram Stories to repost a photo of the two of them from last year. The post had a short caption, which was a quick message she had for the rest of the locker room.
"Don’t underestimate me. #thehousealwayswins," the post read.
After an absence of around five and a half months, Julia Hart could make her return. This would mean that another major star on the women's roster would come into play, but now this means that The House of Black will once more be in full force.
