Former AEW star believes Liv Morgan is the greatest WWE Women's World Champion
A former AEW star has voiced her emphatic agreement with Liv Morgan's claim of being the greatest-ever WWE Women's World Champion. The individual in question is none other than CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana.
Perry stepped into the pro-wrestling industry in WWE after signing with the promotion in 2013. She made a name for herself in the sports entertainment juggernaut through her work as the villainous manager of Rusev, now known as Miro.
The 39-year-old star had also competed extensively in the Stamford-based company against several top superstars over the years, including current Women's World Champion Liv Morgan. The two women have been friends for quite some time now, and Perry has notably never shied away from voicing her support for Morgan and her work.
On this week's episode of WWE RAW, Liv, while addressing her Bad Blood 2024 opponent, Rhea Ripley, alluded to herself as the greatest Women's World Champion of all time. When an X/Twitter user shared a post referencing the 30-year-old star's recent boast, CJ Perry responded by stating her agreement with Morgan's self-assessment. The former AEW personality wrote:
"She is !"

Liv Morgan commented on her WWE storyline with former AEW personality CJ Perry
Towards the tail-end of 2019 and the start of 2020, WWE launched a storyline that saw CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, pursue an on-screen relationship with Bobby Lashley and turn against her real-life partner at the time, Rusev, now known as Miro. The angle would later witness the addition of Liv Morgan, who would team up with The Bulgarian Brute against The All Mighty and Perry.
Interestingly, the storyline was never properly resolved, and in an interview with Chris Van Vliet from some time ago, Morgan revealed that fans will never find out what WWE had planned for the aforementioned program since she herself did not know about it:
"The world may never know... I don't know. But I was just down for the sickness. And who knows? You know, I'll never know, so you guys will never know." [24:43 - 24:57]
Shortly after the conclusion of the angle, Rusev would be released by WWE in 2020. He would soon sign with AEW under the ring name Miro, and would later be joined by Perry in the Tony Khan-led company in 2023.
However, the 39-year-old star revealed earlier this year that she had left AEW. Miro, on the other hand, is currently performing in the Jacksonville-based promotion, although he asked for a release from the company recently, according to reports.
