Former AEW star reacts to Jack Perry’s appearance at NJPW Battle in the Valley with a two-word message

A former AEW star has reacted to Jack Perry's surprise appearance at NJPW Battle in the Valley 2024, months after the latter was suspended from the Tony Khan-led promotion.

The name in question is Joey Janela. He was signed to AEW between 2019 and 2022, featuring in some stellar matches. Meanwhile, Jack Perry (fka Jungle Boy) was indefinitely suspended following All In 2023 in London, England. At the pay-per-view, Perry took a shot at CM Punk, resulting in a backstage altercation between the two.

After several months of suspension, Jack Perry shocked fans worldwide by making an appearance at New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Battle in the Valley event. Upon his arrival, the former FTW Champion assaulted Shota Umino.

Perry also tore apart his AEW contract in a shocking moment. Joey Janela recently reacted to his former colleague's pro wrestling return:

"He’s back! 🫡 @boy_myth_legend," Janela wrote.

It remains to be seen what's next for Perry as he seemingly kickstarted a feud with Umino on Saturday. Will he return to All Elite Wrestling after tearing his contract at Battle in the Valley? Only time will tell.
