Former AEW star reveals if WWE has approached him - "I am in contact with a lot of people"
Former AEW star Stu Grayson recently revealed if he has been contacted by the Triple H-led WWE. Grayson was released by the promotion earlier this year.
The former Dark Order member arrived in AEW in 2019. However, he left the company in May 2022. Stu Grayson returned to All Elite Wrestling in March 2023 and was featured on the company's sister brand, ROH. Grayson's second run came to an end after he was released by the Tony Khan-led promotion in April 2024.
In a recent interview with Straight Talk Wrestling, Stu Grayson was asked if he has been approached by WWE or TNA. The veteran revealed that he has been in contact with some people regarding a deal. However, he also noted how there are days when he rarely talks to anyone:
“So there’s a lot going on in the world of wrestling right now, more than ever. It shifts so quickly. I am in contact with a lot of people sometimes, and then sometimes it just feels like I’m talking to no one. It’s how wrestling works. Within the same minute, I can think, ‘There’s something coming for me,’ or not [laughs]."
Grayson added:
"So the world of wrestling is erratic, which is kind of one of the cool things about it, so it’s hard to say what’s coming up for me until it happens. Because until it’s done and I’m right in the middle of it, I don’t really believe it’s true, so I gotta be right in it. Once I’m right in it, I’m like, ‘This still could not happen at any moment,'" [H/T: Fightful]
Stu Grayson has been wrestling on the independent circuit since his release from AEW earlier this year.
Konnan wants AEW CEO Tony Khan to get rid of The Dark Order
The Dark Order debuted in AEW in 2019 and was later led by the late Brodie Lee. However, the faction has not been featured in major programs for the past few years. In a recent edition of his Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan suggested that Tony Khan should get rid of the faction as they don't mean much anymore.
"Dude, get rid of those guys. They've been there five years, and they mean just as much as they've ever meant; nothing!" Konnan said.
We will have to wait and see if the promotion has something major planned for The Dark Order in the near future.
