Former AEW star set for major debut after WWE SummerSlam backstage visit

A former AEW star and legend's son is set to make his debut in a popular wrestling promotion. The star was spotted at the recent WWE Summerslam PLE as well.

The former AEW star in question is the WWE Hall of Famer, Arn Anderson's son, Brock Anderson. Brock made his All Elite debut back in 2021 but despite so much potential, the 27-year-old didn't quite have a memorable run. He departed from Tony Khan's promotion last year and has been on the indie wrestling scene since then.

Brock Anderson's last match in the Jacksonville-based promotion happened to be on an episode of Collision in August 2023, where he wrestled Luchasaurus for the TNT Title but failed to win. Brock, along with his father, Arn Anderson was backstage at the recent WWE SummerSlam PLE as well.

Meanwhile, Brock Anderson is set to join the Major League Wrestling roster after signing with the promotion. It was announced at the recent MLW Never Say Never 2024 event that Brock will make his debut alongside CW Anderson at the upcoming MLW event on August 29 at Melrose Ballroom in New York City.

Arn Anderson on if he wants to see his son in WWE NXT

Ever since the AEW departure of both Arn Anderson and his son, Brock Anderson, fans have been speculating about their potential move to WWE. Speaking on his ARN podcast recently, the Hall of Famer commented on his son Brock possibly heading to NXT:

"So that's what we're trying to do, is just hone his mechanics and expand his thought process. He'll be somewhere soon. There's no hurry. It's not like rush, rush, rush, [we have to] get you a spot at one of the major promotions. It's just making sure you do things right on the way up. That's what we're looking at," Arn stated.

Meanwhile, Brock Anderson is signed with MLW and is set for his debut. Only time will tell what the future has in store for the 27-year-old star.
