Former WWE Champion busted open; checked by AEW officials midway through the match

During the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, a former WWE Champion was busted open. The star being discussed is Bryan Danielson. The American Dragon and "Hangman" Adam Page fought in a vicious battle at the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, with Jeff Jarrett as an enforcer in the contest.

Danielson made his way to the finals with the motivation to get a shot at the AEW World Championship for the last time. He aims to hang up his boots this year as a full-time wrestler. Meanwhile, "Hangman" Adam Page recently returned to the promotion after four months of hiatus with revenge in his mind.

Both the finalists overcame world-class athletes and were set to face each other for the fourth time in their careers. The former AEW World Champion had the lead after their trilogy.

In a few minutes of the match, Bryan Danielson was busted open, which gave The Anxious Millennial Cowboy an early advantage. Both the stars gave everything to gain leverage over their opponent. After being on the receiving end of piledriver on the ringside, enforcer Jeff Jarrett and other officials gathered around Bryan to evaluate his health.
