Former WWE Diva offers to be Orange Cassidy's friend following AEW betrayal

A former WWE Diva potentially teased her AEW arrival by mentioning the former International Champion Orange Cassidy and offering to be his friend. The latter recently suffered a major betrayal on All Elite TV and is now on his own. The former WWE star in question is Summer Rae (aka Danielle Moinet).

Rae is known for her time in the Stamford-based promotion from 2011 to 2017. She also appeared in the 2022 Royal Rumble match, which happened to be her last in-ring performance until her next move.

Summer Rae possibly hinted at heading to AEW with her latest social media post. She took to X/Twitter during Orange Cassidy's main event match on Collision against Kyle O'Reilly and offered to be his friend after recent betrayals. She wrote the following:

"Hey @orangecassidy, I’ll be your friend…"

Recently, Orange Cassidy suffered major betrayal at the hands of Trent Beretta, and The Best Friends faction broke up. Later, Kris Statlander also shockingly betrayed Cassidy and attacked him yet again this week on Collision after his match.

Only time will tell if Summer Rae will be the one to join The Freshly Squeezed in AEW.
