Former WWE star announces sudden AEW departure
A former WWE star has shockingly left AEW after a surprisingly short tenure. The star in question is none other than CJ Perry.
The 39-year-old arrived in AEW at the All Out PPV last year, where she saved Miro from Powerhouse Hobbs. During her time with the company, she managed Andrade and briefly had an angle with her former husband, Miro. CJ Perry has stated that she wants to follow in the footsteps of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman and become the greatest manager of all time, which seemingly means that she has no interest in performing in the squared circle.
In an interview with "USA Today", the former WWE star announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling. The exit makes Perry one of the shortest-signed stars of the Jacksonville-based promotion, as she had yet to complete a full year in All Elite Wrestling.

CJ Perry competed in the squared circle during her time with the WWE; however, she gained fame mostly for her managerial role, making Miro (FKA Rusev) look like a major threat in Stamford-based promotion. It will be interesting to see if WWE rehires her as a manager.
