Former WWE star breaks character after Jeff Jarrett's emotional clip on AEW TV

Jeff Jarrett recently shared an emotional clip of himself on Instagram. Former WWE star Dax Harwood broke his on-screen character to react to the video.

Jeff Jarret has been in the pro wrestling business since the 90s. He is popularly known for his stints in different top promotions like WCW, TNA, NJPW, Lucha Libre, and many more. Currently, he works for Tony Khan's promotion. He is also associated with NWA and Game Changer Wrestling.

The 56-year-old AEW star recently entered the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and talked about participating in the quest in an emotional video shared on AEW TV and social media. Some fans then criticized his participation in the tournament.

Breaking his onscreen AEW character, Dax Harwood stepped up for the WWE Hall of Famer and backed him up on his Instagram handle. He acknowledged Jeff Jarrett and his talent in his story. He said:

"Sometimes he's a jerk, but if you're rooting against Jeff, I don't know what to say. A legit legend still performing at a high level."

Dax Harwood convinced Jeff Jarrett's wife to join AEW

Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted show last year in November, Jeff Jarret's wife Karen Jarret revealed that FTR's Dax Harwood pushed her to join Tony Khan's roster.

"Well, it was very last minute when it was decided on. I thought it was going to happen maybe sooner than it did when stuff happened with The Acclaimed. I know different ideas were tossed around backstage and Jeff said, ‘I think this may happen, I think that might happen.’ It was actually Dax that kept pushing for it, from what I’ve heard, so we have him to thank for me showing up. I think it’s like 36 hours before we’re told, ‘Hey, we need you there.'"

The Queen of Mountain made her debut in the Jacksonville-based company in May 2023. She helped her husband, Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal and Satnam Singh launch an attack on Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood of FTR.
