Former WWE star defends Chris Jericho; says he doesn't get the credit he "deserves"
A former WWE star has come to the defense of the wrestling veteran, Chris Jericho. He said the legend does not get the credit he "deserves."
Eric Young was the latest to weigh in on Chris Jericho, who is a legend in the professional wrestling business. Jericho has wrestled all over the world and has accomplished everything there was to achieve in this business.
Chris Jericho's ability to adapt to the changing times has helped him stay relevant in the wrestling industry even after 30 years. The 53-year-old has managed to come up with yet another gimmick 'The Learning Tree.' However, this persona has been receiving some criticism from fans, but a former WWE star has come to his defense.
Speaking on Behind the Grind, Eric Young mentioned that although the legend is spoken highly of, he does not necessarily get the praise he deserves. He noted that this was especially true since he has consistently been on top of the wrestling world, including present times, in a career spanning nearly three decades.
"Jericho gets a lot of praise, but I don't know if he gets the praise he really deserves. He's been, you know, top of his game for three decades and is still one of the top talents in the world at over 50 years old," said Young.
Young continued to add that Jericho had always been good to him and treated him well. He also mentioned that the 53-year-old had tried his hands on a lot of things and that his creativity knew no bounds.
"He's a good guy and has always treated me well and treated me with respect and a guy that has done everything, like inside of the ring, outside of the ring, and outside of the professional wrestling business. He's hosted gameshows, he's been in movies, he's a full-time touring musician," he said. "It really just doesn't seem like [a] limit, you know. There's no limit on what he can do creatively, what he can do entertainment-wise." [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Eric Young says he is one of Chris Jericho's close friends
AEW star, Chris Jericho has always been known to care for those close to him. He has also made several friends in the pro wrestling business, given the longevity of his career.
During the same interview, Eric Young mentioned that he and Jericho were good friends and lauded his pal for being one of the premier entertainers on the planet.

Currently, Chris Jericho has added Big Bill and Bryan Keith to his Learning Tree faction. It remains to be seen who else could join his group in the near future and how the legend continues to do his bit to stay on top of his game as he always has been.
