Former WWE star provides an update after suffering a concussion at AEW Dynasty 2024
An AEW star shared a major update about his health on social media. The star being discussed is Dax Harwood.
FTR, fka The Revivals, was a prominent tag team in WWE. They worked in WWE for six years from 2014 before joining the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2020.
FTR and The Young Bucks fiercely fought for the vacant AEW World Tag Team Championship at the Dynasty pay-per-view. This match was filled with many close calls and dangerous spots. Dax Harwood was busted open at the very beginning of the bout.
After many attempts, Dax finally got close to getting his hands on the titles. However, in a major twist, The Scapegoat Jack Perry made his AEW return, only to tip the ladder Dax was on. This interference allowed the EVPs to win the tag titles for an unprecedented third time. Recent reports claimed that FTR's Dax suffered a concussion during the ladder match at the Dynasty.
Recently, the 39-year-old star posted an Instagram story and stated that he was "doing much better." He also thanked everyone for their concern towards him.
Veteran thinks FTR is the only steady team in AEW
FTR is widely regarded as one of the best old-school wrestlers and is widely praised for theor performances.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter claimed FTR is the promotion's steady tag team of last year.
"I am thinking about steady tag teams, and there's only one team I could actually come up with, and the steady tag team of the year is AEW's FTR, the #1 tag team in the PWI tag team listings. I can't think of any other steady tag teams. It's gotta be FTR," Apter said.
As of now, therr has been no update on when Dax will return to in-ring action. It will be interesting to see if Cash Wheeler will appear on the program, now that his partner will be absent.
