Former WWE star refuses to join The Hurt Syndicate despite big offer

Another major name has turned down The Hurt Syndicate's offer tonight on Collision after Swerve Strickland's recent snub. This would also be another former WWE Superstar Ricochet.

Upon their arrival in AEW, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin have been looking to enlist more stars in their faction. The veteran has been handing out his business cards to the likes of Mercedes Moné, Swerve Strickland, Lio Rush, and just recently Ricochet.

Tonight on Collision, the former WWE high-flyer addressed being given an offer by MVP. He mentioned that they had a history until he was interrupted by Lio Rush. Rush brought up how he too was given a business card and that Ricochet wasn't special. He wanted to remind him that he too had history with the 50-year-old and he wasn't someone to be overlooked.

Ricochet clarified the situation, as he revealed that he had no plans of accepting the former WWE veteran's offer for him to join The Hurt Syndicate.

The two are set to lock horns later tonight. The former United States Champion looks to pick up momentum, as he is feuding with International Champion Konosuke Takeshita. As for Lio Rush, it is unclear what his intentions are after receiving MVP's business card, but he has hinted at possibly accepting the offer.
