Former WWE star sends a message after introducing her new faction in AEW
A former WWE star formed an alliance on this week's AEW Rampage and has addressed the fans after the show. The star in question is none other than Deonna Purrazzo.
On the September 20, edition of AEW Rampage, Deonna Purrazzo cut a backstage promo and spoke about how she came to All Elite Wrestling alone however, has realized that she has a lot of allies. Taya Valkyrie joined Purrazzo, confirming the new faction led by the former WWE star.
On her X (fka Twitter) account, Deonna Purrazzo teased some major developments for the future by telling the fans to wait and see what the group is capable of.
"Just wait until you see this Thing of Ours," she wrote.
The new story could be a step in the right direction for Deonna Purrazzo and turn her into a major player in All Elite Wrestling's women's division.

Deonna Purrazzo worked for WWE and TNA Wrestling before heading to All Elite Wrestling in January 2024. In a recent chat with SHAK Wrestling, Deonna Purrazzo revealed that there were plans to form a female version of The Shield in WWE with Chelsea Green and Rachael Ellering. She explained how the trio practiced their own version of The Shield's infamous entrance in the Performance Center.
"We practiced this endlessly, and there was no way we were going to be able to come through the crowd like The Shield did, but we had like one person from here, one person from there, and one from the middle, and the music we had picked like there was almost spotlights bam bam bam, and there was (...) see, you know, one two, three and then all of us together and I have the video somewhere on my phone that we had them record at the PC and we thought we had something really cool going."
Now that Deonna Purrazzo has allied with Taya Valkyrie in AEW, it will be interesting to see how the promotion books the group in the coming weeks.
